Just in case you're our Maggie..

Went to an estate sale today and I bought some sweet little summer dresses for you, just in case you become our little Maggie May.

If you actually are a boy, well, we'll figure something out.

We can't wait to meet you!

Little kicks

Our little one is kicking! I love this feeling. I love being reminded of the sweet little child growing inside of me. Moving all around. Silently. Which we know to enjoy while we can.

Josh comes back home tonight from a review course he has been taking and we can't wait! The boys girls have been so ready to tackle and play. Things only their dad can do.

Maddi has been doing so well in school. Her homework is still a dread and even more so now that Josh is working/studying so much. But when he's home it usually goes something like this..
The other day she had to find 5 rectangular prisms around the house.
"Um, go ask your father."   "He told me to ask you?" "Well then, next question."

Macy is attached to her popup book and will insist on you reading it to her for the 56th time with the same enthusiasm as the first. So I hid it the other day and totally forgot where. Macy is still attached to either Josh or I but it's getting better. She no longer gags herself when we leave! But she wants you by her side all the time. Read with me, sit with me, breathe for me. Maddi was never like that. Even now on the weekends she usually eats breakfast, plays with Macy for a little while, then goes and does her own thing. Until the early afternoon when she realizes she hasn't rolled her eyes at me yet. I think this is the reason why I have a harder time putting Macy in a Mothers Day out program than I did Maddi.

I've been staying home with her and not working much outside of our house. I have to keep reminding myself that being a stay at home mom is just as important as a working one. Although, our bank account seems to reflect differently. I think every mom struggles with the decision to work or stay home. Especially when your child reaches the terrible twos, or has diarrhea. For a month. As for now, we both agree that that's what is best for our family. We think.

Playing in their cave

Reading Fancy Nancy with dad in the cave!

Loving their art table

Proof we don't just sit at home and watch Real Housewives. All of the time.

Macy at 20 months! Getting so big!

How I wish I had wood floors.

Maddi had been asking for a new room for a while now. Actually, I told her I'd do it by last Christmas. Oops.

I thought I would wait until we moved out of the apartment but decided I couldn't put it off any longer. And I was running out of things to sew.

Anyways, I spent most of my free time this week ironing, hemming, and sewing her new pillows, duvet, and curtains. And she had no idea. I finished up most of it today and rearranged it with Macy's help. We surprised her with it this afternoon after school.

Ignore that Elf on the Shelf back there. We really take advantage of those things.

She loves it! Happy Early Valentines Day sweet girl. We love you!

Playing around on instagram!

Just got the app instagram and I love it! A few of the pictures below are ones that I've messed with and some are just regular. I don't have that much time.

Maddi stayed home from school yesterday with a low grade fever and Macy and I enjoyed having her home. We spent most of yesterday doing some art work, playing a few games, and running some errands. I found some creamy linen fabric that I CAN'T WAIT to make a new duvet with for the girls. And hopefully enough left over for some crib bedding.

What a sweet girl you are becoming

If Fancy Nancy might wear it, Maddi will.

This is one of my favorite pictures and I love it even more after I played around with it on instagram!

Today, Macy and I spent most of the day cleaning, washing sheets, and ironing. I know you're jealous. Such glamour.

It is however some of Macy's favorite things to do. And we enjoyed it together.

Mmm. Fresh clean sheets.

Love this little face.

Helping me wash the floors! Love these little sponges for her.

She could do this forever. So I let her.

Tax season has also started so the girls don't get to see too much of Josh. When he came home the other day, I grabbed my camera as I watched Macy unable to contain her happiness! I love these two shots.

4 Months Along

Hello baby!
You are now about 4 months old and getting bigger every day. You're now about the size of an avocado. Yummy. We don't know your gender yet and won't find out until you're born.  You're oldest sister, Maddi, is hoping for another sister. She loves talking to you. About anything. She also loves resting her hand on my stomach-just in case you decide to kick.

This trimester is much better than the first. More energy and no nausea! Some of your favorites are grapes, apples, now and laters, warheads, and a little bit of coffee. And I happily oblige.

I have started picking up different items that I'd like for your nursery small space in mom and dads room. You'll get to share a room with us until we move. I don't think you'll mind. You'll get to use the same crib as your sisters if I can strip, sand, and paint it in time. We really can not wait until you're here.

We'll be seeing you in about 5 1/2 more months!

No more buggy!
