Dallas, here we come!

We are headed to Dallas today and I can't wait! I love love love my sister and brother in law. We love hanging out with them. Maddi has been on Spring Break all week and I am exhausted! I worked last night and was so thankful to get out of the house and do something productive! Also it was nice not to have a 5 year old follow you around. Everywhere. Talking non stop with no regard as to whether or not you're paying attention. However, she is one very awesome 5 year old. Her back tooth is bleeding right now (so she says) and she has stuffed several wadded up paper towels in her mouth.              ......

 I was so excited earlier when I found about 3/4 of a yard of fabric that Maddi and I picked up at an estate sale about 6 months ago. I had completely forgotten about it! I bought it thinking I would make pillows or something out of it. Not really sure. But when we found it today, Maddi loved it and wanted a shirt out of it! I thought it was short enough that I didn't have to cut it but it was a little long so we made it a dress instead of a shirt. It only took me about 45 minutes to sew. It's a very easy pattern! Email me if you want it! And the best part is.... The whole thing cost me $1 I love a good bargain! I hope to get a little M monogrammed on it soon. (Maybe then it won't look so much like a curtain?) :) Anyways, she loves it. That's all that matters, right?
